OSHA Outreach Class Policy and Information
(Training is also available in Spanish)
Note: None of the courses within the Outreach Training Program is considered a certification.
Valid photo identification
Valid photo identification is required of students to present at the start of each course (for multiple day courses – IDs will only be collected on the first session of training). Accepted forms of ID include: driver’s license, state ID, passport, work/school ID, or any other ID that contains student’s picture and full legal name.
Attendance
OSHA outreach training requires 100% attendance for the course and active participation in learning activities including hands-on exercises are required.
Upon completion of the course students will receive a certificate from Gallo Safety Group and within 90 days of successful completion of the course, participants will receive an OSHA Outreach wallet card from the OSHA Training Institute (OTI). OSHA course completion cards are issued directly to each student, regardless of who paid for the training.
Makeup Training
Makeup time is permitted for OSHA outreach training courses. Students are encouraged to make the best effort to attend all class dates and times. Refunds will be not available to those students that do not attended or cancel 48 hours before the class. Makeup training is not guaranteed to students who miss a class. Please be sure to inform the instructor, as makeup training will be at an additional cost per student.
Completion/ replacement certificate and card
A certificate of completion will be issued at the end of course which is valid for 90 days upon completion of the course students will receive a certificate from Gallo Safety Group (via email) and will receive an OSHA Outreach wallet card from the OSHA Training Institute (OTI). The OSHA Outreach Program Training Guidelines require that the OSHA course completion cards are issued directly to each student, regardless of who paid for the training.
Replacement certificate and card
We suggest you maintain a copy for your records. If this card is lost or stolen you will need to purchase a replacement card at an additional $75.00. Please contact us for this request. Your request must be in writing.
Student Behavior and Conduct
Gallo Safety Group reserves the right to reject student enrollment at any time. Student behavior will be of a professional matter. Students who cause disruption during class will be asked to leave and no refund will be provided. In addition the use of drugs in the classroom and/or on the grounds of the training center is prohibited. No refunds will be provided. Any student that causes damage to equipment or the facility will be prosecuted and responsible for damages as required. Violence will not be tolerated in the classroom and on the grounds of any facility hosting training. Students who display signs of violence or become violent will be removed from the training and the facility. Additionally the student will be prosecuted and responsible for damages/losses including training time of the entire class/program.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
Disclaimer – All courses are subject to cancellation due to lack of registration. Gallo Safety Group holds the right the cancel the class without providing advanced notice to students, but will respectfully take into consideration scheduling and will do its best to notify in case of cancellation.
Students who have signed up for a class can cancel within 48 hours to receive a full refund.
